Scott Adams Defends Ye, Nick Fuentes

Scott Adams, Dilbert creator, internet person, conservative thought-leader, and early Trump supporter, has become very interested in the Ye situation. He is defending Ye and Nick Fuentes after the “I love Hitler” comments on the Alex Jones Show, and seems very interested in Ye’s campaign.

Above is a full show where he makes some very interesting comments.

Here are some highlights.

Basically, Adams is saying that Ye is an artist, and it’s his job to be provocative. That’s not only an easy way to explain “why it’s okay to defend this guy that defends Hitler” – it’s also true.

Ye is most definitely an artist above all else, and he is doing a performance when he goes out and demands we uncancel Adolf Hitler. It’s a pretty easy thing to note that he also said he loves Stalin and Mao.

There are definitely arguments that it would have been better to not say “I love Hitler.” However, it also doesn’t really change anything. You can say “it’s just performance art and he loves everyone” and then just call people fags for getting all emotional about something that happened (read: did not happen) 80 years ago on a different continent.

Among other points, Adams endorsed Nick’s point that it is ridiculous to say you can’t talk about Jews as a group when every other group is talked about as a group.

Adams is a really good bellwether, because he was basically the first mainstream figure to come out in support of Donald Trump, and to say he was going to win the election. When he said it, it was basically just me and other fringe figures that had said it. He hasn’t said that about Ye yet, but he’s clearly flirting with the idea.

These are very exciting times.

I’ll be the first one to tell you that Ye winning the nomination is a long shot. But it’s definitely not impossible.
