lol @ the Molynuex thumbnail. Assange is a very bad goy.
We have a gift for you today.
72,000 emails from Macron’s campaign.
These aren’t actually new, but the collected and searchable nature of them is new. Presumably, Assange released them for both archival purposes as well as for the ability to find any potential interesting coded language patterns in them.
For instance: see if you can find anything about pizzas or if it’s better to play “dominos on cheese than on pasta.”
Mayhaps Trump was aware of informations regarding certain types of games played on cheeses and pastas when he broke Macron like the seal on a water bottle.
It’s going to be hard-going since the emails are in French, which is another important reason to release them in a searchable format – it helps a smaller number of people find interesting information in a very large number of documents.
WikiLeaks on Monday released a searchable database stocked with more than 21,000 “verified” emails that the anti-secrecy site claimed originated with the campaign of French president Emmanuel Macron.
Nearly 72,000 emails, including 26,506 attachments, were also released to provide context, WikiLeaks said in a statement. However, the organization cautioned only “21,075 emails have been individually forensically verified” through its Domain Keys Identified Mail system.
WikiLeaks published the messages in a searchable database, similar to the one it created in October for emails alleged to have come from the account of John Podesta, the campaign chair for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
The Macron emails were initially published in May, just two days before the French people voted in the presidential election. Macron was seen as a frontrunner against his far-right rival Marine Le Pen.
Macron confirmed the hack then, saying in a statement through his political party: “The En Marche! Movement has been the victim of a massive and coordinated hack this evening which has given rise to the diffusion on social media of various internal information.”
Remember to be careful though, and use a proxy – because it is illegal for you to look at these Wikileaks unless you work for CNN.
lol no I’m just joking – it is 100% legal for you to visit Wikileaks and look at these emails, and anyone trying to tell you otherwise should honestly be prosecuted for something. Falsely representing law enforcement or purposefully restricting the public’s access to information or something.
Seriously, how did CNN get away with making that statement?
How is it possible that they were not punished for that?
Do you guys remember when they did that?
How insane?
