No black is ever too old to commit a good ol’ fashioned home shooting.
A man has been charged after a shooting at a south Charlotte home left two people dead and three others injured early Saturday morning, police said.
The shooting happened just before 5:30 a.m. on Lytham Drive, near South Mecklenburg High School.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police told Channel 9 five people, including the suspect, were injured in the incident. Authorities said three people were shot.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and another was taken to the hospital, where they later died., investigators told Channel 9.
The victims were identified as Janet Scronce, 40, and Furahn Morrow, 39.

The suspect, identified as 75-year-old Caldwell Cole Jr., has been charged with two counts of murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with the intent to kill.

The shooting was not random and started after a fight inside a house in the area, according to CMPD.
