At least there weren’t any explosions.
That’s good, at least.
A man was arrested this morning on suspicion of terrorist offences after a car crashed into barriers outside parliament. The suspect has been identified as a black man in his 20s from the Midlands who was reportedly driving a Ford Fiesta at the time of the incident.
He was wearing a black puffer jacket when he was pulled from the silver car and place in handcuffs.
The man is yet to be formally identified, and officers are asking anyone with video or pictures of the incident to get in touch. He is said to be refusing to cooperate with police.
