For the older among us lucky enough to have experienced better times, looking back on the past may bring a sense of nostalgia. Something which – in small doses – can be good for your spirit and help you continue on trying to rebuild the society that was taken from us.
The younger among us however, have little or nothing positive to look back on. For us, visions of historic glory can remind us what we are striving for.
What both the young and old have to understand is that it will never be like it was, but we can do our best and hopefully improve on what our ancestors had built.
