The Kiev Junta has spent a week sending German Leopard tanks to get blown up in fields for no reason.
Now, they are demanding more of these tanks.

Ukraine needs significantly more German armor amid intense fighting with Russia, controversial former ambassador to Berlin Andrey Melnik said in an interview published on Sunday. The request comes after Moscow claimed it had destroyed several German-made Leopard tanks while repelling repeated attempts by Kiev to breach Russian lines.
Speaking to Tagesspiegel, Melnik, who now serves as Ukraine’s deputy foreign minister, said his country requires much stronger support from the West than it is receiving now.

“The Ukrainian Army most urgently needs many more Western battle tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, and other armor,” he said, adding that “every Leopard 2 is literally worth its weight in gold for the decisive offensive.”
Uhhhh.

I don’t think anyone is going to send 70 tons of gold into a field to get blown up.
Also, if you sent 70 tons of gold into a Russian field, they would probably like, grab it, instead of blowing it up.
He suggested that the German military could spare many more than the 18 Leopard 2 vehicles it has already delivered to Ukraine, noting that Berlin has more than 300 tanks of this type in its arsenal. The number of Leopards provided could be “tripled without endangering Germany’s ability to defend itself,” the deputy foreign minister claimed.
In addition to tanks, Berlin could also give Kiev “another 60 Marder infantry fighting vehicles (IFV),” according to Melnik. In total, Germany has sent 40 IFVs of this type to Ukraine, while promising to supply another 20 in the near future.

Of the 18 tanks, there is HD drone footage of three of them getting blown up and two others getting left in the middle of the field. The Russians are claiming to have taken out 8 or 9, though they are not releasing all the footage because the battle is still ongoing.
So, yes: Kiev is definitely going to need more of these tanks if they plan to continue driving them into heavily mined open fields to be destroyed and/or abandoned.
Meanwhile, in one of the funniest clips so far, the British media is claiming that Russia is faking the footage of the destroyed tanks – based on a moronic analysis of a freeze frame of one of the videos.

I hate to say it, but it really does not seem like the spring counteroffensive is going very well at all.
At this rate, it could be weeks before the Ukraine is able to take back Crimea.
In other Ukrainian news, an American CSGO enthusiast and TikToker is auctioning off the blood-soaked equipment of his dead comrades on Facebook.
That post gives a whole new meaning to the term “war profiteering.”

Frankly, I kinda want a bullet-riddled and blood-soaked flak jacket with a certificate of “genuine hohol blood” to hang on my wall.
