Prichard Police say one of the men they were looking for in connection with the shooting death of Andrew Shane Herlong is in custody.
Bovair Dewayne Brown is in Mobile County Jail being held under previous warrants, according to police.
Brown was one of two men wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting at a convenience store on Nov. 11.
Officers found Andrew Shane Herlong dead from a pair of gunshot wounds at a convenience store between South Wasson and South Atmore avenues just before 9 a.m. on Nov. 11. He was attacked while leaving the store, said Philip Stiell, chief of staff for Mayor Troy Ephriam.
According to a press release from Prichard, police are no longer interested in talking with a female shown in convenience store surveillance videos.
The investigation continues, and Prichard Police still seek the whereabouts of 19-year old Andelair Flanthac Bettis, Jr. as well as the identity and location of two other males shown in surveillance videos.
Anyone with any knowledge of these remaining individuals wanted for questioning are asked to call Prichard’s Criminal Investigation Division at 251-452-2211.
