Al Sharpton on Blueberry Pie

Was this supposed to be funny?  Or is it just a beautiful accident?  Maybe it is meant to endear us to blacks, with a slight chuckle?  Or is Sharpton doing a show about blueberry pie on MSNBC?  Perhaps he is just doing a show on baking in general?
