Alt-Right Crowdfunding Services

In recent months, Occidental Dissent has been targeted by SJWs who are fighting “hate speech” by pressuring corporations to adopt politically correct TOS agreements to demonetize our work. We’ve been “no platformed” by Disqus, PayPal, Donately, Patreon and GoFundMe.

I haven’t been very active on YouTube, but this campaign is having the biggest impact there. YouTube stars like PewDiePie and Paul Joseph Watson have had their videos demonetized for not being “advertiser friendly.” Breitbart has lost over 90% of its advertisers because of the “Sleeping Giants” campaign. These are the same people who pressured Disqus into pulling their ads here.

I’ve said all along that this was going to be a temporary annoyance. In the early 2000s, I remember when hosting services were pressured into “no platforming” our forums for “hate speech.” This hasn’t been a problem for us in years because it created new incentives, the market responded and eventually we began hosting our own content to get around the censorship. The SPLC and ADL are dragging us through the same process again with social media platforms and crowdfunding services.

The Chapo Trap House podcast is making $75,000 a month off Patreon subscriptions. When we can create the same market incentives, there will be an explosion in Alt-Right discourse because no one will have to work anymore in shitty, underpaid jobs as a wage cuck for the conservative movement. The SJW censorship campaign will boomerang and lead to the creation of an Alt-Right Patreon.

If you are looking for a way to finance your work without SJWs crying and getting you “no platformed” for “hate speech” (this is a big deal for those of us who are content creators who have gone public with our identities), some alternatives have recently become available:

RootBocks

Just yesterday, I launched a campaign to help finance Occidental Dissent’s trip to the #UniteTheRight rally. In less than 24 hours, we are 86% of the way towards our goal.

WeSearchr

Charles Johnson’s WeSearchr has been used to raise $159,104 for The Daily Stormer’s legal defense fund.

Hatreon

Hatreon is a new Alt-Right crowdfunding service.

Counter.fund

Pax Dickinson’s Counter.fund hasn’t launched yet. It is another one of the new alternatives that will help make us independent of “mainstream” crowdfunding services.

Eventually, I will probably end up using all of these platforms and will review them as I gain experience. In the meantime, we have raised $60 through the DonorBox platform which works like Donately or PayPal. If SJWs want to waste their time getting that shut down, they are free to do so. It is not going to have any impact on what we are doing because there will always be an alternative.
