Well, this was another dumb hoax.
The US military contractor who was killed in a rocket attack in Iraq last month has been buried in Northern California after his death ignited a series of reprisals between the U.S. and Iran.
Nawres Waleed Hamid, 33, died on December 27 at a military base near Iraq’s northern city of Kirkuk where he worked as a linguist for Virginia based Valiant Integrated Services.
US authorities say Iranian-backed militia fired rockets at the base, killing married dad-of-two Hamid and injuring several coalition troops.
The attack inflamed tensions in the region with Iran’s Supreme Leader warning America that Tuesday night’s missile attack on two bases was merely ‘a slap’ and that such strikes are ‘not enough’ to punish the US.
Hamid had lived in the Sacramento suburb of Arden Arcade and was buried in California’s state capital on Saturday. He studied computer information science at American River College for five years.
His devastated widow, Noor Alkhali, told The Sacramento Bee that she felt something was wrong when he stopped responding to her phone messages.

Does anybody actually think that an Iraqi given American citizenship literally two years ago is “an American”?
I don’t even think that liberals actually think that.
Does anyone think that an Iraqi who took a job on a US military base as a translator – for an extreme amount of money, I’m sure – and ended up dying “served and sacrificed for our nation” or that “we all owe him a debt of gratitude”?
Why do we not talk about loggers in these terms?
Don’t we owe them a lot more than we owe some Moslem getting paid six figures to do translation?
Why, when loggers die, do we not declare war on trees?
