I wonder if they remembered that the shoes on display are not usually grouped in pairs.

At first it was believed that a small troop of monkeys robbed a store in broad daylight – but their disguise was seen through and a pair of dark-skinned humanoids are now being sought for the robbery.

Los Angeles CBS Local:

Authorities are looking for two men suspected in a brazen daytime robbery in which numerous pairs of Nike Jordan shoes were taken.

The Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement that the men were captured on surveillance video entering the store in the 7800 block of Melrose Avenue in the Fairfax District just before 1 p.m. Thursday.

The footage shows the men, believed to be ages 18 to 25, wearing monkey and gorilla masks.

Police said the men described as either black or Hispanic threatened the store clerk with two semiautomatic handguns, according to the statement.

The men allegedly made off with an unknown number of women’s shoes.

Niggas out der bee gissin braaaaaazin.

I didn’t even realize women’s Jordan’s were a thing. Must have been part of some mission of the Black feminist posse.
