The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office announced that they now have Joseph Villarreal in custody in connection to the murder of Nicholas D. Winter, 37, who was fatally shot Thursday night.
According to police, the shooting happened around 10 p.m. on the 2300 block of 145th Street in Little Rock.
Police say Winter died at the scene of the shooting.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office had previously stated Villarreal was wanted for the murder and was considered armed and dangerous.
