So this story seems to not be a rumor.

It’s happening.

RT:

Ecuadorian President Lenin Moreno is either about to strike or has already struck an agreement with British authorities on withdrawing the asylum protection of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, Glenn Greenwald reports.

Moreno is visiting the UK as part of his European trip between July 22 and 28. His visit is not said to be an official one, so he is not expected to meet with any high-ranking UK officials and would instead participate in the Global Disability Summit on July 24, which is co-hosted by the UK government.

However, the Ecuadorian leader is also expected to use his trip to the British Isles to “finalize an agreement under which Ecuador will withdraw its asylum protection of Julian Assange,” according to the Intercept’s co-editor, Glenn Greenwald, who is best known for a series of reports detailing the US surveillance programs based on the documents leaked by Edward Snowden. Greenwald also supported and defended Wikileaks, as well as the whistleblowers who provided materials for the website, for many years.

This appears to be basically confirming it.

Is this how the Julian Assange saga ends? It feels like he’s been surrounded and finally smoked out.

Moreno is “close to finalizing, if he has not already finalized,” the agreement, Greenwald writes, citing an unnamed “source close to the Ecuadorian Foreign Ministry and the President’s office.” Under this agreement, the WikiLeaks founder could be ejected from the Ecuadorian Embassy and handed over to the UK authorities “as early as this week,”Greenwald says.

So we’re basically on Assange Watch as of now.

It looks bleak for him. And the worst part is that he’s yesterday’s news. That means this won’t be a cause celebre. He’s been kept on ice for too long.

Not a young, hip, crowd. SJW Millennials aren’t coming out on the streets of London for this guy. Hell, I don’t think that anyone in fashionable society even knows who he is.

I don’t think that the MSM will make a big fuss out of this.

And as for what happens to him next, that’s really up in the air. Sessions doesn’t like the guy and wants to jail him at the very least because he’s a boomer, and boomers like to use the ban-hammer on things they don’t understand like holes in jeans, avocados and obviously, Julian Assange.

And like, I get that he did the whole Manning leak thing, but no one even really remembers that, and Iraq was a stupid war and y’all should just get over it. Secondly, he may have information about Seth Rich’s murder that would basically get Hillary and the Democrat Deep Party put in jail.

I don’t really see the point in going after this guy if you’re on Team Trump. Let the man act as a Chaotic Neutral force in the world…

So really, what I’m trying to say is that he’s in big trouble. I don’t see anyone going to bat for him. No social movement, no politician, no country. This guy did not play the hand of cards he was dealt very well.

As a result, they’re going to make an example out of him.
