Australia: 44-Year-Old TV Presenter Drops Dead While Walking His Dog

This always happened.

News.com.au:

Tributes have poured in for Channel 7 reporter Nathan Templeton who died suddenly on Monday evening, leaving behind two young sons.

The Herald Sun reported that in the last couple of years the 44-year-old father had shied away from the spotlight to deal with personal issues and he had suffered a medical episode while walking his dog along the Barwon River near Geelong in Victoria.

Templeton had been a reporter with Channel 7 for a number of years and was “loved within the media and sporting community”.

During Channel 7’s Olympic Games coverage he was well known as the poolside reporter and worked for the Geelong Football Club as a ground announcer during home games.

Friends and colleagues have taken to social media to share their grief at the tragic news, with fellow television reporter Stephen Quartermain writing on X (formerly Twitter): “Hard to comprehend Nathan Templeton is gone. So young, vibrant, talented and cheeky. That’s how I’ll remember him. Vale and rest in peace.”

I wonder if he was –

Ah.

Yeah.
