I try to be objective when I judge a person or situation. In the pursuit of that, I have to say trying to sell a gun to a black (more than likely illegally) is probably one of the dumbest things you could ever try to do.
If he tried to sell this gun to another White guy, he would likely have done so without any problems.
A 19-year-old has been sentenced to 24 years in prison for a fatal shooting that happened in a grocery store parking lot.
A Jackson County jury convicted the Kansas City man June 9 for the 2016 fatal shooting and killing of a man during a botched gun sale in a metro parking lot.
Fazon K. Swinton, 19, was convicted of second-degree murder, second-degree attempted robbery, armed criminal action and leaving the scene of a shooting.
Swinton shot Jacob Brantner after they had arranged to meet in order for Brantner to sell Swinton a handgun.
The two men wrestled over the gun before Swinton grabbed it and ran away.
Both Brantner and Swinton then pulled out guns and shot at each other. Brantner was hit and died from the gunshot wounds.
