Ouch. Inflation is far too important a problem for the White House to keep making statements like this. Itβs either straight ahead misdirection or a deep misunderstanding of basic market dynamics. https://t.co/XgKfEICZpk

I’m not a Jeff Bezos fan by any stretch. I hate what Amazon has done to small businesses, I hate the Washington Post, I hate seasons 2 & 3 of The Boys, and most of all, I hate the Wheel of Time adaptation.
That said: I do not think Bezos is some kind of ideologue. I think he’s a guy who wants to make money.
“Joe Biden” and the Democrat Party he represents is officially messing with Bezos’ money, and they’re doing it in the stupidest possible way imaginable, and then going out and insulting the entire world by pretending (?) not to understand the very most basic concepts of supply and demand. This comes after they pretended (?) not to understand the core causes of inflation.
Bezos has usually just kept quiet. But in recent months, he’s started making public statements against Biden, presumably out of both frustration and outrage.
Most recently, he responded to Biden’s tweet claiming that the rise in gas prices was the result of a conspiracy by oil companies. He said these people are either lying on purpose, or they are absurdly, dangerously stupid.
Here’s the thing: if he was in on this, he would have no reason to say anything. He has spent decades not saying anything about politics. He never attacked Trump directly (obviously the WaPo did, but that is a different thing).
The Democrats appear to be angering a lot of very powerful people inside of the United States with their lunatic agenda to destroy civilization.
The first and most basic rule of macro-politics is that you don’t mess with rich people’s money, unless you’re ready to send in the military to kill them and nationalize their assets.
Is it really possible that our political leadership has this sort of misunderstanding? If so, that really bothers me.

What is the real cause of inflation?

It’s nice to see them all tweet. It humanizes them.

I would vote for him over any of the current candidates for sure. This is the exact type of person that was supposed to be in office. Successful businessman and community leaders go represent their community for 2-4 years and then go back to work.

He can’t even ride a bike…you think he can type anything on twitter. NO!!! Not him.
