Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
“What’s happening in America’s college campuses is horrific. Antisemitic mobs have taken over leading universities. They call for the annihilation of Israel. They attack Jewish students. They attack Jewish faculty. pic.twitter.com/ZuoeAUyP2s

Now, fortunately, state, local, federal officials, many of them have responded differently but there has to be more. More has to be done. It has to be done not only because they attack Israel, that’s bad enough,

And this tells us that there is an antisemitic surge here that has terrible consequences.
We see this exponential rise of antisemitism throughout America and throughout Western societies as Israel tries to defend itself against genocidal terrorists, who hide behind civilians.

We’ve seen in history that antisemitic attacks were always preceded by vilification and slander, lies that were cast against the Jewish people that are unbelievable yet people believed them.

We have to stop antisemitism because antisemitism is the canary in the coal mine. It always precedes larger conflagrations that engulf the entire world.

Bibi will not tolerate Americans protesting against his policies.
You see, in the 1940s, a bunch of Germans got together. They made all of the Jews remove their shoes, and then they threw the shoes in a big pile. Because of this, no one can ever criticize the Jews, ever, for all of eternity.
If anyone does criticize the Jews, they must go to prison.
The Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday condemned pro-Palestinian protests at universities in the United States as “horrific”, saying the demonstrations “have to be stopped”, as he categorized students as antisemitic.
…
“What’s happening in America’s college campuses is horrific,” Netanyahu said in a statement, echoing concerns voiced primarily by supporters of Israel over the safety of Israeli or Jewish students and faculty as the protests intensify.
Some have pointed to antisemitic incidents and argued that university leaders are enabling intimidation and hate speech.
“Antisemitic mobs have taken over leading universities,” claimed Netanyahu.
“They call for the annihilation of Israel. They attack Jewish students. They attack Jewish faculty,” he said.
“It’s unconscionable. It has to be stopped.”
What do you think he means when he says “it has to be stopped”?
Well, I can tell you what he means: he is ordering US politicians and other authorities to find a way to shut this down, as, he claims, if they do not, Jew shoes will once again be thrown in a pile.
Unfortunately, the American authorities have no way to stop these protests.
What they can do is what they did to the January 6ers, Covid protesters, and others: they can arrest them, close their bank accounts, ban them from the internet, and so on.
However, there are a lot more people supporting Palestine than there were fighting for Donald Trump. Further, they appear to be a lot more devoted. No one rallied in solidarity with the January 6ers. Trump supporters largely accepted the narrative that January 6 was somehow an “insurrection,” and everyone just shut up.
We’re going to see if the pro-Palestine protesters give up in the way Trump supporters gave up. We’ll see. My thinking is they will not, but the gloves are going to come off, especially in light of this directive from Bibi. The federal government and every other government body is going to move to bring the full weight of the system down on the heads of these college students, and then we will see how they react.
Thus far, the arrests have not done anything to sway them. However, the arrests have largely been symbolic, if not simply meaningless, as they just arrest them and book them and then let them go. What will happen if they start putting them in indefinite detention, like is done to Palestinians by the Israelis, and like the US government did to the January 6ers? Will they keep up the fight? What about when the banks start freezing their accounts? What about when there is a massive campaign to ban them from all social media?
Again, no one knows how they will respond, because that hasn’t happened yet, and the future is unknowable (that’s why it’s the future). Personally, I’m rooting for them, and I don’t see them backing down.
