Police Wednesday night arrested a Pass Christian man on a murder charge.
The arrest was at the Harrison County jail, where he’s been held since he allegedly stole a dead Long Beach woman’s vehicle.
Antoine King, 33, was a recent acquaintance of Regina Riley-Paul, 20, of Long Beach, said Michael Lalley, chief investigator of the Pass Christian Police Department.
Police believe he killed her, but no details are being released yet.
The woman was reported missing under her maiden name of Riley. She had been married two weeks. She was last seen Sept. 27 in DeLisle. Her remains were found three weeks later in a vacant lot on Clarence Avenue in Pass Christian.
She died of asphyxiation.
Justice Court Judge Melvin Ray set King’s bond at $2 million.
