The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Captain Megan Vizena says Michael Melancon, age 52, of Church Point, LA, has been arrested for allegedly having inappropriate sexual contact with a 3 year old family member.
Captain Vizena stated, “On December 7, our office received a complaint from the mother of the victim regarding Melancon possibly having sexual contact with the child.”
“After further investigation, Melancon was arrested on January 2, 2014. He has been booked into the St. Landry
Parish Jail and charged with aggravated incest. He currently has no bond at this time,” Vizena added.
