A burglar captured the moment he stole an iPhone – by accidentally taking a selfie with the device.
The bungling thief inadvertently activated a video app on the device as he picked it up in Los Angeles.
After walking into the house in the Venice area through an unlocked door, he grabbed the phone from a table top.
But he accidentally began filming, and shot himself standing in the living room before taking off with the device.
