Police in Fort Mill have charged a man with first degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
Police say the victim in the case is a three-year-old baby girl.
According to the incident report, the child’s mother contacted authorities telling them she believed that her daughter was possibly assaulted.
The toddler was treated at Carolinas Medical Center and DSS was notified of the situation, according to the incident report.
After their investigation, police arrested Mazy Balemba Kubuanu. He is now being held without bond at the York County Detention Center on a felony charge.
The charge carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years if convicted.
