The teen driver who fled the scene after hitting a Temple University student learned his fate Tuesday.
Rashan Roberts, 18, was sentenced to 11 ½ to 23 months in prison as well as five years probation.
Roberts waived his preliminary hearing back in May and admitted in court in July to running over 22-year-old Rachel Hall and then fleeing the scene back on April 29.

Roberts only had his learner’s permit when he struck Hall, who was riding her bicycle near Temple University. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
