Deputies said an ex-boyfriend has been arrested after a woman was found dead in her home.
Late Tuesday, deputies said they arrested Lamar Thompson in connection with the death of Jennifer Jill Youngblood, and charged him with murder.
Thompson appeared before a judge early Wednesday morning for a bond hearing.
Youngblood’s body was found on Friday at about 3:45 p.m. in a home in the 200 block of Nix Circle , according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies had earlier received a 911 call about a deceased woman who had been found by a family member in the home.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office later identified the woman as Youngblood, 25.
On Wednesday, a judge denied bond to Thompson, and he remains in the Greenville County Detention Center.
