A man accused of killing a St. Paul woman and putting her body in the trunk of a car now faces charges in another murder case.

Eighteen-year-old Brittany Clardy was found in a car hidden under blankets at an impound lot in Columbia Heights last February.

Alberto Prece Palmer, 23, was charged in her death.

He’s now also charged in the death of 24-year-old Klaressa Cook, whose body was also found in the trunk of a car.

Cook’s body was discovered after the vehicle had been towed to the Minneapolis impound lot.

Palmer has been in the Anoka County Jail awaiting trial. If convicted, he faces life in prison.
