Memphis police have arrested 29-year-old Shenetta Moore in connection with the murder of a woman early Saturday morning.
Police say Moore intentionally drove her SUV into a crowd at a parking lot of a business in the 1800 block of Winchester Road, near Millbranch Road.
Around 2:30 Saturday morning, police were called to a disturbance at the Fantasy World Adult Center. While in route to the scene, they heard that a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer had struck several pedestrians and three vehicles on the parking lot of the location and left the scene.
Officers located the suspect in the vehicle on the entrance ramp to go west on Interstate 240 from Millbranch.
When officers made the scene on Winchester Road, they found four injured people that had by struck by Moore’s vehicle.
Tiffany Jenkins, 30, was rushed to the MED and was pronounced deceased. Three other people, a male and two females, were transported to the hospital in non-critical condition.
The police investigation found that a large group of people had attended a party and became involved in a fight in the parking of Fantasy World Adult Center. That’s when police say Moore intentionally drove her SUV into the crowd of people.
Moore was charged with first-degree Murder, three counts of criminal attempt, DUI, and driving while license revoked.
She is due in court Tuesday, January 21.
