Seven are facing charges in all for beating up a White girl and her pet.

Two more people have been arrested in the recent beating of a 17-year-old male at a birthday party in Fort Bend County, bringing the total number of suspects facing charges to seven, authorities said Friday.

Four adults and one juvenile all were charged with assault Wednesday following a group attack that took place at a party on Nov. 1, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Bob Haenel said in a written statement. A sixth suspect, a juvenile, was arrested Thursday. A seventh suspect, 19-year-old Charles Foster of Mission Bend, was arrested at his home after authorities received several Crime Stoppers tips.

According to the sheriff’s office, the party in the Grand Mission subdivision grew in size when word about it circulated on social media. Many people who were not known to party planners showed up. When one of the female guests was being harassed by a group, she and her male escort decided to leave.

The 17-year-old male was followed to a nearby yard and kicked and struck in the face multiple times, authorities said. When a girl tried to intervene, she was assaulted and choked.

Charles Foster is facing charges of robbery too.

The attack, which occurred about 11:30 p.m., was captured on a home surveillance video.

A copy of the video aired by KTRK-TV shows a group of at least six men encircling the male victim, kicking him repeatedly as he lies on the ground.

Neither victim was hospitalized, Haenel said.

In a statement taken after the assault, the female victim recalled overhearing a suspect saying to the male victim on the night of the incident, “We black people aren’t like you black people,” Sheriff Troy Nehls said. The adult suspects who were arrested are African-American, as is the victim; the female victim is white.

“It’s appalling, disturbing,” Nehls said of the assault. “It’s an utter lack of human decency.”
