A Cleveland man is charged with aggravated murder in connection with the death of off-duty firefighter Theodore Wright.
Slatter Howell, 20, was indicted Tuesday on charges of aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault aggravated robbery, robbery, tampering with evidence and having weapons while under disability, according to Cuyahoga County court records.
Howell is currently in custody on unrelated charges in Mansfield, according to a spokesman with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office.

The indictment accuses Howell of causing Wright’s death while attempting to rob him.
