NJ:

A city man pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of murder, drug possession and weapon possession in the shooting death of Justin Pease.

Davine Campbell, 22, made his first appearance in Passaic County Superior Court before Judge Marilyn C. Clark.

He’s charged with murder, and several weapon and drug possession charges. Campbell is accused of having a firearm illegally, both because he had no license and because he’s been convicted of a crime.

Campbell also allegedly had 14 bricks and an additional 47 glassine envelopes of heroin stamped “Blue Magic.”

He’s being held on $2.5 million full bail. Clark referred Campbell’s case to a grand jury.
