Black Home Invader Gets 27 Years for Stabbing White Woman 25 Times

Annika Horn was viciously stabbed so many times that she has been awarded almost half a million dollars in compensation.

The Columbia man convicted of stabbing a woman 25 times in a home invasion received a lengthy prison sentence Wednesday morning in Lancaster County Court.

Elswart R. Bodden, 24, was sentenced 27½ to 75 years in prison for the home invasion and attack on the an unidentified woman. Additionally, Bodden must pay more than $410,000 in restitution to the victim to cover costs of her extensive injuries.

Bodden was convicted of attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, robbery, burglary, theft by unlawful taking, fleeing police, and recklessly endangering another person.

Police initially described the stabbing as brutal, supported by the victim’s testimony on the hour-long attack, in which Bodden stabbed her 25 times, according to a Lancaster Online report.
