An Indianapolis pastor was sentenced Tuesday to 40 years for two counts of child molestation.
During a sentencing hearing, Otis Jetter, 70, was given 30 years for one count of A felony child molestation and 10 years for one count of B felony child molestation.
Jetter was the pastor of The Pilgrim Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis.
Police say a 29-year-old man admitted that Jetter molested him when he was 12. He came forward with the information after he saw Jetter with another boy at church and worried the boy might be in the same situation.
The victim admitted that he was given money in exchange for his secrecy.
Jetter turned himself in on Dec. 17, 2012. He denied the allegations to police.
