Black Rapist Arrested After 8 Years on the Run

Joseph Jones had an outstanding warrant in Orangeburg County for failure to register as a sex offender in 2005.On December 4 the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joseph Jones for failing to register as a sex offender.  Jones had been on the run since 2005.

The U.S. Marshal New York/New Jersey Regional Task Force arrested Joseph Blakely Jones on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Jones had an outstanding warrant in Orangeburg County for failure to register as a Sex Offender in 2005.

Jones was included in a May 2013 press release after Investigators conducted a compliance check in April 2013 of registered Sex Offenders in the county.
