Houma police said officers are looking for a person of interest in a killing that happened on Sunday afternoon.
Connely Duplantis, 66, was shot in a relative’s home in the 200 block of Carolyn Avenue about 1:10 p.m. on Sunday.
Police said he was shot while visiting relatives by an unknown man, who fled toward Mary Ann Street after the incident.
Duplantis died at the hospital.

Calloway has an outstanding juvenile warrant for probation violation for first-degree robbery.
