Local Good Boy.
For the first time that I can personally remember, we can actually say this Black was in fact just going to church.
Police are looking for a raincoat-clad thief wanted for stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of musical instruments from a Queens church.
The suspect, wearing a bright yellow jacket, broke in through the side door at Canaan Baptist Church in North Corona on Tuesday afternoon. Surveillance footage from inside the church shows how he then ransacked the place of about $2,300 worth of musical equipment, police said.
He made off with two guitars – a Fender Stratocaster and a PRS guitar – and an Ibanez bass, police said.
He then fled the scene on foot.
Police describe the suspect as being approximately 30 to 40 years old with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing the yellow jacket and jeans.
