Black Suspect Arrested for Stabbing White Man to Death with Broken Glass

Brandon Williams was a frequent visitor to the homeless camp before he murdered one of the White homeless people.

An arrest warrant was issued for 34-year old Brandon Williams in connection with a recent homicide. At approximately 9:16 a.m. on October 18, 2015, Williams was found by patrol officers from the LVMPD Northeast Area Command at a residence located in the 4500 block of Fireside Lane.

Williams was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Office of Public Information. He was later transported to the Clark County Detention Center where he was booked for one count of Open Murder.

**ORIGINAL STORY***

LAS VEGAS—At approximately 2:09 p.m. on September 21, 2015 LVMPD patrol officers were dispatched to a homeless camp located under a bridge in the 3900 block of East Owens Avenue to investigate a report of a stabbing. Arriving officers located an adult male in the camp suffering from an apparent stab wound to the neck.

The male was transported to the UMC Trauma Center and was later pronounced deceased. The investigation initiated by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicated the victim and another male were involved in a verbal argument inside of the camp. The suspect was then seen chasing the victim just prior to the victim being injured.
