Devon Guisherd was killed by police when he started shooting at them when they tried to arrest him.

Police say the officer was released from the hospital a short time later, and that this was the second time this particular officer was saved by a bulletproof vest.

Sources tell FOX 29’s Jennifer Joyce that SWAT officers were attempting to serve a murder warrant to Guisherd in the murder of Megan Doto, 25.

Doto, who was pregnant at the time of her death, was struck by a stray bullet in Frankford back on September 14th, 2014. Police say she was struck while sitting on her front porch of her Adams Avenue home. Doctors attempted an emergency C-section to deliver the baby but the child also died.
