Nothing good ever comes from having a “Detavion” in the neighborhood.
Corpus Christi police arrested a man that could be connected to a 21-year-old man’s death at a southside apartment complex.
Detavion Falkquay, 19, was arrested Friday in McAllen on a warrant for murder, according to a news release from CCPD.
Police stated members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task force, with assistance from Corpus Christi Police Department, McAllen Police Department, Texas DPS Troopers and McAllen Task Force tracked Falkquay to a home on the 1000 block of Pecan Boulevard.
Falkquay was taken into custody without incident, the release stated. He was booked into the Hidalgo County Jail and will be extradited back to Nueces County Jail. His bond is set at $150,000.
The release states Falkquay’s warrant was issued in connection with a recent homicide at an apartment complex on the 4100 block of Brett Drive.
On March 5, police responded to a call at the complex for an unconscious man. When officers arrived to the scene, they discovered the man was dead.
The man was later identified by family as Damian Buch.
