A teenager convicted of murder in the pharmacy robbery that left a 16-year-old dead is recovering at a local hospital after he was shot in the face, Oklahoma City police confirmed.
Officers told KOCO 5 News that Jevontai Ingram, 19, was shot in the face Tuesday night at the Nottingham Apartments, near Northwest 27th Street and Shields Boulevard.

Ingram and Antwun Parker attempted to rob the Reliable Pharmacy in 2009. During the robbery, pharmacist Jerome Ersland shot and killed Parker and is serving a life sentence for the death.
Ingram was transported to OU Medical Center, where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested Ingram on several outstanding warrants.
