Tiger Woods’ half-brother, Earl Woods Jr. was arrested on Dec. 13 for making a bomb threat in Phoenix, Ariz. According to the Associated Press, Woods, who works at the Department of Economic Security, called the front desk around 8:30 a.m. claiming he had a bomb and was going to blow the building up.
Security was notified of the threat and more than 100 employees from the building were evacuated. Reportedly when police arrived at the scene Woods voluntarily told them that he made the call but it was only a “joke” and he didn’t think people would take it so seriously.
Police arrested the 58-year-old on “suspicion of attempting to terrify, intimidate, threaten or harass others.” Cops claim Woods is cooperating and is extremely apologetic for making the call.
