Recently Florida enacted new gun control laws which heavily restrict who can have guns in their home as well as who can purchase them.
One of these new restrictions is called a Risk Protection Order (RPO) which will allow police to seize any guns or ammunition owned by an individual for between one and infinity years if the police deem them to be at risk of harming themselves or others.
