These experts appear to be having a really hard time.
The first outbreak of the coronavirus could have happened further south than the central Chinese city of Wuhan as early as September, according to a team of scientists led by the University of Cambridge.
Researchers investigating the virus’ origin analysed a large number of strains from around the world and calculated that the initial outbreak occurred in a window between September 13 and December 7.
“The virus may have mutated into its final ‘human-efficient’ form months ago, but stayed inside a bat or other animal or even human for several months without infecting other individuals,” University of Cambridge geneticist Peter Forster said on Thursday.
“Then, it started infecting and spreading among humans between September 13 and December 7, generating the network we present in [the journal] Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences [PNAS].”
If they think it was hidden for three months, how do we even know it actually came from China?
China was the first country to put together a test, then when other countries got tests, they started finding people testing positive and just said they came from China. Also, most of the tests haven’t actually worked, and current tests are listed by the CDC as only 70% accurate.
Clearly, this coronavirus is just a normal coronavirus that causes the flu, something which has been with us for a very long time. So I don’t see any specific reason to believe it came from China. It makes sense in theory when they talk about bats, but these experts have not even been able to establish that this virus came from bats or any animal.
Theoretically, you can trace a virus, because of the way it mutates as it moves. But these experts are clearly both incompetent and liars. And they have some weird hidden agenda.
