Because of the fact Canada is a cesspool of nihilistic shitlibs, we will likely be the first country to willingly give up our entire history and all our land.
Vancouver and Brampton (the entire GTA to be honest) are already pretty much lost, all of our industry has been stripped and the cost of housing is near impossible for people to deal with, even if you want to rent in most cases.
We need to do something about this situation.
