Cleveland Congoid Gets 30 Years Minimum for Killing Four People, Including Two Whites

Robert Rembert.

Nothing to see here folks, just another black serial killer.

Personally, I’d like to hear more about Ted Bundy or John Wayne Gacy.

You know, the white serial killers that no one ever hears about.

FOX8:

A last-minute guilty plea might have spared a serial killer from the death penalty.

Robert Rembert apologized to the families of his four victims before judge Joan Synenberg handed down his sentence.

He turned to the family members and said, “There’s nothing I can possibly say to you change what happened or why I did it. All I can say is I’m sorry and ask that you just pray for me. I’m sorry.”

48-year-old Rembert offered no explanation, only that brief apology. He has been in jail since 2015 when DNA evidence tied him to the strangulation deaths of Rena May Payne, who was killed in 1997, and Kimberly Hall, the mother of a young son who according to her mother, Kathy Campensa, became a drug addict, “and that was what caused her demise.”

Rembert also killed his cousin, Jerry Rembert, and another woman, 26-year-old Morgan Nietzel. He lived with them at the time.

Robert Rembert spent 6 years in prison for a killing a man back in 1997.

On Monday, he changed his plea to guilty in this case, and was sentenced to 30-years to life in prison.
