This is a clip from Polish television, recorded January 9th. It is just today in the news cycle, apparently no one noticed it before.
It’s also not 100% clear to me how these Poles know that the footage was ordered erased. It seems it has to have been, however. They certainly aren’t releasing it. There would have been thousands of cameras witnessing all of this, and that footage could be used to identify attackers.
But Merkel isn’t interested in identifying attackers.
