Colored Chap Charged for Double Homicide of Ape and Human

Glenford Blackwood.

This dead-eyed beast killed two strangers with a shotgun in cold blood.

Pretty brutal stuff.

I hate to be “that guy” who keeps saying, “if we’d kept them as slaves, this sort of thing wouldn’t be happening,” but…

Yeah.

Delaware Online:

A 32-year-old was charged Friday in the shotgun slayings of a 15-year-old girl and a 36-year-old man in Belvedere last June.

Glenford Blackwood, 32, faces two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Doris E. Dorsey and Vincent DiMenco, who were shot in front of a Lloyd Street house near Newport Gap Pike on June 17, said New Castle County police spokesman Michel Eckerd.

Neither victim knew Blackwood, but he had a previous interaction with a resident in the house where Dorsey’s parents lived, police said.

On the night of the shooting, Duncan Dorsey had been celebrating his 54th birthday, drinking Coors Light and chatting with longtime friend DiMenco about music, while his teenage daughter sat in a car listening to the radio and playing on her phone.

Police said Blackwood walked up to the home and unloaded his gun, firing twice at Dorsey and then Dimenco.

County police Col. Vaughn M. Bond Jr. called Blackwood an “evil person.”

“Mr. Blackwood has shattered the lives of all of those who loved Vincent DiMenco and Doris Dorsey,” Bond said. “His actions also affected the community of Belvedere as many of the residents were afraid to leave their homes or allow their children to play outside.”
