Conrad Davin Anderson.

The coroner’s verdict?

“He relaxed around blacks.”

Sounds about right.

WACH:

Police say they’ve identified a suspect in last week’s suspicious death investigation at a Forest Drive restaurant, according to the Columbia Police Department.

Police are looking for 48-year-old Conrad Davin Anderson, according to the department.

Anderson has a lengthy criminal record that starts in the 1980’s. Records show Anderson’s past charges include several burglaries, armed robberies, kidnapping and domestic violence.

Police say Anderson and Charles Crane were acquaintances and argued moments before the deadly incident Friday, April 5 in the 5400 block of Forest Dr.

Anderson will be charged with murder once arrested. According to Richland County Coroner Gary Watts, Crane died due to blunt force injuries.
