The WaPo nor the rest of the media is reporting it, but AJ already gave the name of the informant: academic Stephan Halper. Who is, frankly, the son-in-law of Ray Cline, a CIA nigger who it has been alleged glowed in the dark.
In fact, it has not been confirmed if this guy was even acting directly on behalf of the FBI, or if he was acting on behalf of some other intelligence agency which then gave the information over to the FBI.
Just another layer on the onion of conspiracy.
What is at the center of this onion?
A secret FBI informant who has come into the spotlight in recent days reportedly met with three advisers to President Trump’s campaign during the 2016 presidential election.
The Washington Post reported Friday that in addition to meeting with Trump campaign advisers George Papadopoulos and Carter Page, the informant — described as an American academic — also met with former Trump campaign co-chairman Sam Clovis.
The informant, a retired professor who is said to be a longtime U.S. intelligence source, met Clovis for coffee in Northern Virginia in the summer of 2016, during which he offered to provide foreign policy advice to the campaign, the Post reported.
The New York Times had previously reported on Wednesday that the informant approached Papadopoulos and Page.
The role of the informant in the origins of the FBI investigation into possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia has given rise to claims by some GOP lawmakers and Trump allies in recent days that the Obama administration planted a “mole” within the Trump campaign to dig up dirt on the businessman and his associates.
There is no evidence that the FBI dispatched the informant to infiltrate the Trump campaign, the Times reported Friday.
Yeah, well – is there any evidence that they didn’t?
What the hell is the FBI doing sending people to investigate a presidential campaign?
Are we really supposed to believe this isn’t connected to the “secret society” that FBI agents are on record forming with Andrew McCabe to prevent Trump from getting elected?
How is none of this being investigated?
Instead we’ve got Trump going full-kook with John Bolton and refusing to fire – let alone indict – any of the people who planned this conspiracy against him.

Is there a single Trump voter who is comfortable with any single element of that tweet? Excluding the evangelical doomsday cultists?
What it looks like is that Trump is being blackmailed or threatened.
Just from the outside, that’s what it looks like.
And they could have gotten blackmail material when they raided Cohen.
It’s all so tiresome.

Given that it is now clear that our government is a hostile, occupation government, hellbent on destroying the country – and the fact that it is also clear that Trump himself is incapable of dealing with this problem – a foreign peacekeeping force seems to make sense.
