Covington Bishop Apologizes to Nick Sandmann After Berating Him for Being White

Remember that it was not just the filthy Jew media that attacked Nick Sandmann after he was ambushed by an Apache Warband – it was also his own school, and the bishop of that school, who claimed he must be evil because he’s white.

You would have thought the school of all people would have went and watched the longer clip, which showed the kids being screamed at for over an hour by Black Israelis before they were rushed by the Apaches.

But no, they just said “you’re evil because Jews said” and publicly denounced him.

Now the bishop is apologizing – presumably because the school itself is facing a lawsuit along with the media for partaking in this racial hate hoax. After the statement was issued, Sandmann’s lawyer said he probably wont’ be suing the school yet.

The bishop of the Covington Diocese in Kentucky apologized Friday to the teenager at the center of a controversy over the behavior of Catholic high school students toward a Native American elder in Washington.

In a letter to parents, the Most Rev. Roger Foys said the diocese was too quick to condemn the actions of the Covington Catholic High School students, particularly those of Nicholas Sandmann, the boy who was seen on video facing off with Native American elder Nathan Phillips as he performed the song “American Indian Movement” near the Lincoln Memorial.

“We should not have allowed ourselves to be bullied and pressured into making a statement prematurely, and we take full responsibility for it,” Foys wrote. “I especially apologize to Nicholas Sandmann and his family, as well as to all CovCath families who have felt abandoned during this ordeal.”

“Nicholas unfortunately has become the face of these allegations based on video clips,” the bishop wrote. “This is not fair. It is not just.”

Foys said students and other connected to Covington have endured hatred and death threats in the wake of the incident.

He said an investigative team has been “engaged” to get to the bottom of what happened in Washington.

“We apologize to anyone who has been offended in any way” he said in the letter.

Immediately after the standoff, a spokeswoman for the diocese issued a statement that criticized the students’ behavior.

“We condemn the actions of the Covington Catholic High School students towards Nathan Phillips specifically, and Native Americans in general, Jan. 18, after the March for Life, in Washington, D.C.,” the diocese’s statement said. “We extend our deepest apologies to Mr. Phillips. This behavior is opposed to the Church’s teachings on the dignity and respect of the human person.”

There’s nothing to “get to the bottom of.” There is an hour and forty-six minute long video that shows the entire event.

Everyone already knows everything that happened:

• The kids were being screamed at and called white devils by black Israelis for an hour while they were waiting on a bus
• They started doing school spirit chants to drown out the noise of the racial attacks
• All the sudden, a band of Indians rushed them and started drumming
• They kept doing the school chants
• The media took a two minute clip and talked about how the kids were evil because they stood near an Indian wearing MAGA hats
• The Indian went on TV and said they were chanting “build the wall,” which is untrue
• People kept spamming the longer clip so the media was forced to admit the whole thing was a hoax

That is the entire story.

There is no confusion about it.

Even the media itself is not claiming to be confused.

They are however continuing to say that the kids are evil anyway because they’re white. Even if they didn’t do anything, they’re still evil and should be condemned.

They are mainly talking about his facial expression, or saying he should have moved out of the way of the Indian because of his privilege and the oppression of the Indian.

There does not need to be an investigation.

There need to be more apologies, there need to be confirmations that the kids did nothing wrong, and there needs to be pushback against the media outlets that are continuing to print that these kids are evil even after they’ve admitted that the original story was a total hoax and that they incited a racial hate mob against these kids based on lies.
