A suspect is behind bars for the shooting death of a Muskogee woman last week.
Rachelle Hayes, 48, was found dead late July 2 on the porch at a house on Douglas Street. She had multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say Hayes had no relationship to the man who lived in the house where she was found and she had no connections to the neighborhood.
On July 7, police made an arrest in Hayes murder.
Jordan Williams, 19, was arrested at a home in Muskogee. He was booked into the Muskogee County Detention Facility on several local warrants and a complaint of first-degree murder.
Muskogee police have not disclosed the connection between Williams and Hayes.
