The FBI is asking for help to identify a suspect in a bank robbery from Wednesday morning.
Authorities said around 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, a man entered the U.S. Bank branch inside Truman Medical Center in the 2300 block of Holmes.
That man approached the counter and demanded money from the teller while claiming to be armed with a handgun.
He fled the scene on foot with an unreleased amount of cash. Once he left the hospital, authorities said he was observed entering a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 50-60 years old. He is approximately 5’10” tall, and weighs roughly 185 pounds.
