Borrell: EU will punish India for Russian oil
According to Borrell, because of the price ceiling imposed by the G7 countries on Russian oil, India has been able to use cheaper raw materials.

The EU should “take measures” to stop India reselling Russian oil to the region in the form of refined fuels, the EU’s foreign policy chief told the Financial Times on Tuesday. Josep Borrell said the bloc was aware that Indian refiners are using large volumes of Russian crude to make fuels for the European market.
“If diesel or gasoline is entering Europe… coming from India and being produced with Russian oil, that is certainly a circumvention of sanctions and member states have to take measures,” Borrell told the news outlet.
The diplomat added that he understands India’s eagerness to buy Russian oil, given the G7 price cap which bans Russia from selling its oil at a price above $60 per barrel. However, he urged Brussels to block products made from this oil from entering the EU.
“That India buys Russian oil, it’s normal. And if, thanks to our limitations on the price of oil, India can buy this oil much cheaper, well the less money Russia gets, the better. But if they use that in order to be a center where Russian oil is being refined and by-products are being sold to us… we have to act,” he stated, without clarifying what those actions may be.

The issue is, these people seem to actually believe that there is some combination of military might and the power of the US dollar that creates some kind of Infinity Gauntlet type scenario – they wield the ultimate power, and nothing can stop them, whatever they do.
There is a belligerent recklessness here that is terrifying in its opaqueness – if you read me.
Why are they talking about a war with China? There are 1.5 billion people in China. It’s very obvious that with both Russia and China, they think they can create these humiliating debacles – Ukraine and Taiwan, respectively – and then collapse the governments of these countries and replace them with their own people. This is not reasonable. If you go through and look at what these CSIS, Rand, and Hudson people are saying, you look at the associated academic literature, you look at what they are saying in the New York Times op-eds, and so on – if you just go for the broad overview of the thing we are discussing, which is how the US is going to maintain global hegemony in the 21st century, you find that these people just lie to each other in these papers they write, and none of them are fact-checking each other.
This is an Empire of Lies and the lies are now so large and so complex that no one person could possibly keep track of all of them. This entire order is breaking down, due to the simple fact that dastardly, underhanded, pirate type activities cannot scale indefinitely.
If the whole plan is to keep the dollar strong, then why did they do that stupid “pandemic” hoax and create psycho inflation that requires them to do rate hikes that destroy the US financial markets that prop-up the dollar in the first place?
Why did their sanctions serve to strengthen the Russian economy and solidify Sino-Russian friendship?
Why are they not managing the fact that they are hemorrhaging allies all across the world, even though they admitted years ago that countries prefer to do business with the Chinese, because the Chinese show up with bags of cash instead of crippling IMF debt scams backed up by the threat of American military violence?
These people are too clever by half.
